“Hello everyone! My name is Daniel ‘Danny’ Montoya, and I am a Community Engagement Intern here at CVC for the upcoming year. I am currently pursuing my Masters of Social Work at California State University, Long Beach— and I am really excited to have the opportunity to work within this beautiful community. I was born and raised in the city of Azusa, located in the San Gabriel Valley. My hobbies include exploring new ground and enjoying nature through hiking, long walks, or distance running.  I absolutely love coffee and enjoy working as a barista at a local coffee shop in my free time. I have a passion for people: I love connecting with others and enjoying each other’s company over genuine conversation. As a community engagement intern, you will find me co-facilitating community events throughout the year and leading our weekly farm stand! I look forward to meeting many of you throughout the year.”
