Residential Services

Housing is just the first step to recovery and self-sufficiency. Century Oasis Residential Services provides critical support for our residents, including those who have experienced homelessness or have special needs, such as mental or physical health conditions or substance use disorders.

What We Provide

We take an integrated approach to our residential services, which are voluntary. The Oasis team helps residents maintain their housing stability, improve their health, increase their financial stability, enhance their skills and/or advance their education, and find meaningful activities in their lives.

Our dedicated team offers personalized case management to help residents in affordable and permanent supportive housing maintain stability and reach their personal goals. For residents with mental health conditions or other special needs, we provide Intensive Case Management Services (ICMS). Our case managers are supported by licensed clinical social workers who offer ongoing guidance. When necessary, these supervisors also step in to provide direct services to residents, ensuring everyone has access to the care they need.

We have a full-time behavioral health specialist on-site to support residents and staff with expert guidance during challenging moments. By addressing issues early, we help to prevent crises from escalating. The specialist is available to the entire Century Villages at Cabrillo community, including after hours, providing compassionate care when it’s needed most.

Our licensed occupational therapist (OT) works alongside case managers to enhance residents’ independence. Whether it’s offering tips for healthier eating or making homes safer to prevent falls, our OT tailors their support to each resident’s unique needs. With a team of interns, they offer both individual and group services, providing a personalized approach that builds on residents’ strengths.

We partner with experts to offer financial literacy workshops, assistance with benefits enrollment, and job search support, helping residents achieve greater financial stability and independence.

Our team, along with community partners and interns, offers a wide range of health and wellness activities such as walking groups, cooking classes, yoga, and journaling sessions. These programs not only promote well-being but also foster a sense of community.

To keep our community connected and thriving, we organize monthly meetings, fun resident activities, and special events like holiday celebrations and youth programming. Our larger quarterly events include a back-to-school drive, a health fair, and a winter celebration, bringing everyone together to celebrate and support each other.

Our youth and family programs aim to strengthen parenting skills and provide stability for children and teens. We offer parenting classes, after-school programs for elementary-aged children, a youth leadership program for middle and high schoolers, and intergenerational family activities. During the summer, children can enjoy our free Oasis summer camp.
