Support Our Summer Youth Programming by Adopting-A-Camper Today!

Many residents at the Villages at Cabrillo have few options for their children once school is out. Traditional summer camps cost about $200 a week, which is out of reach for families who are currently homeless or have limited income. Century Villages at Cabrillo’s Oasis Community Center are committed to providing our youth with the same opportunity for enrichment programs as other children in the community. This Summer CVC’s Oasis Center is teaming up with Occupational Therapy Student interns from CSUDH and USC to offer three unique summer experiences for the youth that reside at the Villages.  With your help we will offer a Summer Camp to 50 children and teens free of charge.

~ Oasis Summer Camp (children ages K-5^th) Fun programming offered daily during the summer and will include games, arts, crafts, music, gardening and much more. ~ BE BOLD Teen Camp (teens 6^th-12^th grade) Leadership program offered daily in the mornings during the Summer and will include managing the Bold Bakers, a social enterprise developed by teens, sports, games, arts, crafts, cooking and much more. ~TEEN CLUBHOUSE (teens 6^th-12^th grade) Drop in style teen center open daily in the afternoons and staffed by Occupational Therapy interns and will include dance, games, activities, theme weeks, cooking, healthy eating, and fun experiences.

We need your help to reach our goal of $5,000 which will allow 50 children to attend the Oasis Summer Camp!

Every dollar raised through Adopt-A-Camper will go directly to cover the Oasis Summer programming expenses. Your support will allow us to offer an educational and fun experience to the children that need it most.
