Century Villages at Cabrillo grieves loss of life, hit and run incident

(Long Beach) – Century Villages at Cabrillo Executive Director Steve Colman issued the following statement Saturday after a hit-and-run driver resulted in the death of a security guard:

“Our community experienced an incredible loss today involving a hit-and-run driver and the death of one of our security personnel. We are deeply saddened by this tragic event, and we are cooperating fully with the Long Beach Police Department in their efforts to identify the driver.

Our primary concern is the wellbeing of our community, and in the wake of this incident, our residential services teams are providing immediate support for our community members impacted by this loss. This is as much information as we can provide at this time.”
