The Long Beach Community Action Partnership organized an amazing summer camp program for youth at the Family Commons called Project P.L.A.Y. This program provided a fun and learning-filled environment for the resident students. There were over 90 different activities in Project P.L.A.Y., including skate board making, a Young Eagles flying trip, a Nike 3 on 3 basketball tournament, and many, many more. Each activity was tied to a learning goal. The students who participated in the program created a slideshow, for which they took the pictures, did the editing, and chose the music themselves.
