Urban Forest and Solar Carport Opening
Century Villages at Cabrillo invites you to the opening ceremony for our new urban forest and solar carport facility.
The Solar Carport Facility will supply Casa de Cabrillo with nearly 150,0000 kilowatts hours per year of clean power, generating electrical savings while averting emissions from power plants. In addition, the facility will provide shaded parking for 27 resident vehicles.

The ceremony will be held north of the intersection of Williams St. and San Gabriel Ave., adjacent to the Urban Forest on Wednesday, September 10, at 9:30am.
Designed by Meléndrez, the Urban Forest project builds upon the previously developed Landscape Barrier and will add o the site’s ability to capture harmful airborne particulate matter generated by adjacent industrial and transportation uses and in the sequestration of harmful greenhouse gases.
